Cryptocurrencies have emerged as a core component of the global financial system, enabling decentralized value transfer, programmable assets, and new governance models. Despite this progress, the security of blockchain networks remains dependent on classical public‑key cryptography, particularly algorithms such as RSA, ECDSA, and DSA. These schemes are considered secure against conventional computation but are vulnerable to advances in quantum computing.

Quantum computers, once sufficiently developed, will be capable of executing algorithms such as Shor’s algorithm to efficiently factor large integers and compute discrete logarithms. This capability would render existing public‑key cryptographic systems insecure, allowing the derivation of private keys from accessible public keys and the compromise of digital signatures. The moment when such systems become practically vulnerable is commonly referred to as Q‑Day.

qLABS has been established as the first quantum‑native crypto foundation with the objective of preparing the digital asset ecosystem for this transition. It is bringing its patented and patent-pending quantum-resistant tech to Hyperliquid, the leading blockchain ecosystem, with the goal to house all finance. To support this mission, qLABS is releasing the first quantum-safe token on Hyperliquid as well as quantum-resistant representation of $HYPE token.

qLABS’ core protocol, combines post‑quantum cryptographic algorithms standardized by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) with zero‑knowledge proofs to enable secure, efficient, and verifiable transactions across Hyperliquid. This approach seeks to ensure long‑term resilience of digital assets on Hyperliquid against quantum adversaries.

The qLABS ecosystem will initially comprise four elements: the qLABS token, a quantum‑resistant ecosystem token, the qLABS Wallet providing secure storage and transaction functionality, the qLABS Verification Protocol for on‑chain validation, and a quantum-resistant $HYPE token. These products are supported by intellectual property developed in collaboration with 01 Quantum, a publicly listed Canadian cybersecurity company with established expertise in post‑quantum solutions.

Through these initiatives, qLABS aims to provide the infrastructure necessary for a quantum‑secure Web3 environment on Hyperliquid and to mitigate systemic risks posed by Q‑Day to both institutional and individual stakeholders.
